These have to be fake reviews! Guy shows up in a broken down minivan tosses just the tools he needs to sleight off hand a fake gas leak…hmm how convenient! Grab water bottle , two wrenches, pipe fitting tape and sticky product. When I ask why ain’t he grabbing his tools …oh I’ve been doing this for 37 years. Bro your math is bad. I then let him do his thing and of course he forgets the 37 years and tells me he’s 48. Hmmm sooo you started working on AC at 9? After he starts his magic trick I catch him red handed loosing the fitting after I pretend to leave the furnace closet. Let’s say I was about to grab his skinny lying scruff of hisworn t shirt as he balked to leave. That’s another thing: unprofessional atttire! Ratty holes T-shirt and stained cargo shorts. Nope. Stay away from these gas lighting scammers.

I used Angie’s list to find Dad’s Heating and Cooling, their response call happened within minutes of my submittal. The call was helpful and Brian arrived within the next hours as promised (on a Saturday morning)! This was a service call that he spent several hours with me trying to determine the system diagnosis status and determine anything we could try to remedy our issue…..determined to be a locked up compressor unit on our 10+ year old system. Further testing and troubleshooting confirmed this. We decided to replace the entire HVAC upon their recommendation. The quote was fair and provided options as I had requested. The work was completed on Monday, with significant rework to our duct work connecting the new system. Professional, Competent, Fair, Quality Work is how I can best explain the work and service that we received. THANK YOU DAD’S Heating and Cooling for a great job for our home!

I absolutely love Dads Heating and Cooling! I always feel like I am getting an honest answer to my questions and don’t feel like I am getting taken advantage of. They are always quick to get service out to my house when it is needed. Dan recommended an iWave ionizer when I replaced the furnace in my old house, and it was the best recommendation. I just had Dan come out and install a new iWave ionizer in my new house, because I missed how clean the air always felt in my previous house. The ionizer is truly amazing! I no longer have little floating particles in my sun beams and my allergies are much better. The filters that I remove after the ionizer has been installed are always filthy with trapped particles. Love this company!

First off, i have been in the industry for over 45 years. I am a master pipefitter and hold contractor licenses in both Kansas City and Independence Missouri. My daughter called this company to repair a heat pump at her residence since I was out of town. The short version is, before it was over, they wanted to sell her an entire system and had made changes to the wiring before finding the actual culprit. They frightened her into believing that she was in danger from a so called defective furnace. I repaired this system for a 25 dollar part. I would not use this company. Buyer beware.
